What is B.Sc. Aerospace at TUM about?
You are ready to soar to new heights and explore the limitless possibilities of the aerospace spectrum? Welcome to the B.Sc. Aerospace Program, where your passion for the skies meets a curriculum designed to launch your dreams into reality!
But what does it mean to study aerospace engineering? Is it really that hard? Do I need to have outstanding grades in maths and physics? Are my
English skills good enough, if I am not a native speaker? What does my schedule look like? Will I have free time? Will everybody end up in defense
industry? Are there only male students and „nerds“?
In order to answer all these questions, we set up this part of the website. We hope that we can provide you some insight and support your decision for the best fitting study program and future career.
We will inform you about the application process, provide you some insight to the study routine and lay down a general information about what modules as well as competences you will accomplish in the program. Furthermore, we collected some inspiration for your free time and living in Munich (to get rid of the engineering tan).
In fact, this degree program is rather young (started in winter 2021) and we as a student council are continuously working on solving the initial challenges in cooperation with the professors and administration. We are writing down these information as students of the first years, some of us in the last semester of our Bachelor, so we already experienced all the ups and downs. Therefore we are able to point out all the tips and tricks to you for having a decent start to your studies here at the TUM.
Let your dreams of aerospace excellence take flight!

competitions, awards, etc.)
For applications with international university entrance qualification:
- preliminary examination documentation (VPD) from uni-assist
- Proof of German language proficiency
The program is taught in English, but German language skills are required for the Bachelor’s program at TUM and life in Munich.
